Executed at knife point
Tarantello
Price range: 21,00 € through 37,00 €
Tarantello is the result of a selection of fish meat, cut with a knife, thanks to the skill of our stevedores: it has a balanced dose of lipids that make it more tender, so much so that it falls under the “soft” classification of tuna preserves. It first appeared in the early 16th century, on the menu of a luncheon in honour of Emperor Charles V, who landed in the city of Taranto with his fleet: hence the name of the product.
- Ingredients: Bluefin tuna (Thunnus thynnus), olive oil, sea salt.
