In the past, the Buzzonaglia was the typical meal of the tuna fishermen: they prepared a kind of seafood caponata, with dry bread soaked in vinegar and seawater, arranged at the bottom of a bowl to which they then added tomatoes, potatoes, onions, cucumbers and buzzonaglia.
